Internet marketing education for todays marketer.

The internet has become one of those things that make you wonder how we did without it. In the process it is probably responsible for helping create more millionaires than any other business, as well as a few billionaires.

Is it any wonder so many people are giving it a shot. Few succeed at it though, statistics show only 3% make it. Several scam artists are also at work taking advantage of people managing to just have one foot over the line.

There are also some very big scams that would surprise quite a few people. Strange as it may seem the Internet is a place that has a way of policing itself, it’s not called the information highway for nothing.

I believe more and more people are turning off the television sets and going online to get the news, basically coming from a distrust of mainstream media today, which is well founded.

Given the relatively short history of the Internet along with what it’s become, the future of it is certain, it is the new frontier and gold rush. Just like a gold rush in the old days make jumped in ill prepared and paid the consequences.

One must realize how fast the Internet is changing, how much new technologies are changing the ways of doing business online. Imagine being taken out of the world today for two years then coming back, quite a few things will have changed, but especially so far as the Internet is concerned. Buying a new computer a few years ago only to find within a year or two it was out dated.

There is a point here and it’s this. To get and have an Internet marketing education you need to change thinking from ready, aim, fire to ready, fire, aim. You need to be in it to learn it. You need to be constantly paying attention and looking for and adapting to the changes.

Being an Internet marketer requires throwing common sense out the window sometimes. All in all I believe we are still in the beginning stages where the Internet and marketing are concerned, a 10-12% growth rate every year.

The growth of the social sites. Take into consideration some of the computer programs, where else could anyone create and sell intellectual property that can be downloaded at the click of a mouse, product received, credit card charged everything.

There are usually affiliate programs that come along with everything being sold online where marketers can promote products and receive commissions , I have to say this is the firmest pillar of the Internet or what makes the Internet world go round and round.

Now to help a little, putting some of this in perspective choosing the right business opportunities, marketing in the right fashion would be the best way to describe what’s needed.

There’s no end to opportunities online, the problem is they all require a study and your time and there is only 24 hours in a day, some are easy some are harder, they all have different commissions schedules etc…all in all as stated previously you need to be in the business paying attention and adapting, basically avoiding the opportunities that are not opportunities  and choosing the ones that are real opportunities.

I would say the same holds true about who you associate with, there is all kinds of free training being offered online, I don’t want to say it’s all not very good, but if your a marketer and in business you need the best and that’s even if you have to pay, it’s cheaper in the long run, it will lead to faster and higher revenue creating activities.

This is in my opinion as a serious marketer some may disagree but I think it’s a matter of their being near sighted or a little to conservative as well as just not knowing what opportunities I’ve connected myself with or how they work.
